It's Sunday afternoon and I have not a lot to do. I decided to make a real treat.
I love Portuguese Custard Tart... You know the kind... eggy and crispy.
I made this Custard Tarts... the Rolls-Royce of custard tarts, in my opinion :)
This classic tart has two components, a fluted edged sweet pastry crust and a luscious pastry cream.
Crisp on the outside, smooth on the inside...
PERFECT!!!!
